Our final PPE distribution

Dear friends,

Below is LMCAC's final PPE distribution report. We have provided tens of thousands of much needed PPE to 110+ Philadelphia area healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, first responders and many more. This would not have been possible without your generous support, whether in form of monetary donation or through spreading the words of our cause. We want to say, Thank You! 

Now that we have officially depleted all of the funds we've raised (through GoFundMe and donations among families and friends, both domestically and overseas from China), we are closing down this campaign. We want to assure you that 100% of the funds raised were used for purchasing and shipping PPE for distribution to the entities listed below. 

Lastly, at this particular moment when there's so much justified frustration and anger, we want to provide a little piece of comfort: in this campaign, we saw so much love and caring and we believe that's the basic tone of human nature.

Face Shields Ready for Dispatching

We finally received our 1750 FDA approved face shields! If you know a Greater Philly area hospital or nursing home that is short on face shields, please contact us using our PPE Request Form.

LMCAC continues to raise fund through our GoFundMe page: gf.me/u/xrz9kg in order to cover the shipping costs of these PPE which we paid out of pocket. We appreciate your support in helping us spread the words!

Our Face Shields Coming Soon!!!

After a long wait at the UPS warehouse in Shenzhen, China, our Face Shields finally came to US and cleared the custom! We are waiting excitedly for them to land in Philly!

Another wave of thank you notes we received

Our latest shipment of 5,700 Level 3 Surgical Masks have arrived in Philly, and we have dispatched them quickly into the hands of frontline healthcare workers!

And cumulatively so far, LMCAC has proudly donated over 35,000 PPE to 80+ local hospitals, clinics, first responders, senior living. This is only possible with the generous donations we receive from our campaign: gf.me/u/xrz9kg.

Our donation is much appreciated by health workers in the 24 institutions that we donated to in the greater Philadelphia area.

LMCAC donates PPE to local hospitals and doctors' offices

We are a group of Chinese American volunteers living in Lower Merion. 

Our family members, friends and neighbors are doctors, nurses and first responders working at Penn Medicine, CHOP, Mainline Health and etc. These health workers are battling Covid-19 on the frontline to protect all of us. However, there is a shortage of PPE in these places. We started a fund-raising campaign with GoFundMe, and managed to raise money to buy quality PPE product from China and donate directly to medical workers.

As of April 5th, 2020, we have purchased 5600 N95 masks, 7400 surgical masks, and 1650 face shields to health professionals around the great Philadelphia area in 24 institutions.
